The SCALABRINI INTERNATIONAL MIGRATION NETWORK is a not for profit and apolitical organization of the Congregation of the Missionaries of Saint Charles-Scalabrinians. It is established as a legal entity for internal coordinating purposes and for external operations with representative (advocacy and lobbying) and development (fundraising) functions to be carried out for the Scalabrinian missions worldwide. Its mission is to safeguard the dignity and the rights of migrants, refugees, seafarers, itinerants and people on the move.

Our objectives are:

• To sensitize individuals, groups and societies to understand human mobility as a resource, an opportunity of meeting and dialogue among people, societies, cultures and different religions
• To foster cultural and social promotion of migrants, refugees and itinerant people
• To protect their rights and those of their families
• To promote participative citizenship and develop cooperation and training;
• To coordinate the Scalabrinian associations and institutions operating in the world of human mobility
• To develop projects through research of funds available from public and private entities.
